Gorgeous, well planned and spectacular wedding flowers, from a London studio since 1999
In Water Flowers is a London floral design studio, based at Latimer Road since 1999, creating contemporary wedding flowers from a single bouquet to full venue transformation for weddings at Blenheim Palace, Cliveden House, Chiswick House and beyond.
In Water Flowers began in 1999 as a small-scale floral delivery service, personally styling and delivering arrangements from a van. The breakthrough came the following year, at the opening of Tate Modern, where the studio became the first florist to fully submerge flowers underwater in clear glass vases and freeze orchids inside giant blocks of ice. Over 25 years later, the same studio works from Latimer Road in London on weddings, corporate floristry and large-scale installations, including a suspended floral wall of over 26,000 flowers for the National Gallery and a Royal Entrance for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Wedding flowers sit at the centre of a genuinely wide practice, and the studio's own line about what it wants for a couple is direct: gorgeous, well planned and spectacular. That runs from a bespoke contemporary design to something more traditional, a single bridal bouquet to the full transformation of a grand hall, for weddings at Blenheim Palace, Cliveden House, Chiswick House, Castle Howard, Farnham Castle and inside the triangulated glass dome of The Gherkin.

In Water Flowers started small: a van, a handful of deliveries, and a studio that would go on, within a year, to submerge flowers underwater at the opening of Tate Modern, a piece of design still remembered as a genuine first for the trade. That appetite for scale and technical ambition has stayed the throughline ever since, from a suspended floral wall of 26,000 flowers built for the National Gallery to a Royal Entrance installation for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The studio today is a team rather than a single name: florists, installation designers, logistics and studio staff working from Latimer Road on weddings alongside a genuinely broad corporate and events practice. Robert Hornsby, one of the studio's florists and installation designers, is pictured here beside one of the studio's large-scale floral walls, the kind of hands-on, technical build that sits behind every 'simple' bouquet the same team also makes.
