A London-based makeup artist with over nineteen years' experience across fashion, celebrity and bridal work, trained at the Glauca Rossi School and formerly Val Garland's 1st.
Elizabeth Hsieh is a London makeup artist with over nineteen years' experience, Vogue and ELLE credits, and a wedding portfolio spanning more than forty named venues across London, the UK and abroad.
Elizabeth Hsieh trained to be a doctor before she trained to be a makeup artist. Nineteen years into the second career, her name sits on Vogue Arabia, Vogue Italia and ELLE credits, L'Oréal Paris campaigns, and a run of catwalk and celebrity work that led to her being asked to work full-time as Val Garland's 1st, one of fashion's most senior makeup artists. Alongside that career sits a second, equally serious one: a Weddings section on her own site naming more than forty individual weddings, each with its own gallery, at venues from Dartmouth House and the Four Seasons on Park Lane to Hampton Court Palace and Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons. A dedicated Bridal Info page sets out her trial process in detail and names the twenty-seven product houses she works from, including Chanel, Dior and Charlotte Tilbury, and more than forty named client testimonials, cross-checked against those same wedding galleries, back the claim up. She works from London across the UK and abroad, for brides who want the same standard she brings to a magazine cover applied to their own wedding morning.

When I met Elizabeth at my initial consultation she was really interested in the look I wanted to achieve as well as made suggestions. All my concerns about her being able to execute the look I wanted and understanding black skin were put to rest. I remember being so nervous about her being able to travel to my wedding which was outside London. However Elizabeth was prompt and prepared. On the day Elizabeth achieved beyond what I expected and I felt stunning. On my honeymoon when I took off my lashes my husband was so shocked as he assumed they were real; that further highlights how natural and flawless I was. I couldn't recommend her enough as she's wonderful, I remember her calm manner helping with my nerves, recommending skincare products, and her coming along to the actual wedding ceremony. If you're looking for the best, then you need to book with Elizabeth Hsieh.
