Andrei Weddings is the London wedding film studio of Andrei Oprescu and Claudia, a husband-and-wife team who have been filming weddings together for over twelve years. Both trained as documentary film editors before turning to weddings, and it shows: the films favour real moments and genuine emotion over a directed re-enactment of the day.
The studio has built a particular reputation for Jewish and Asian weddings, filming Hindu, Sikh, Tamil and Gujarati ceremonies alongside Armenian, Coptic, African and church weddings, and travels for destination celebrations in Kos, Thailand and beyond. In London, the films are shot regularly at Claridge's, The Dorchester, Syon Park, The Ned, Hedsor House and other landmark addresses, always with the same unobtrusive, storytelling approach.
