It is taken on exclusive use for weddings: once the gates close, the whole estate is yours, private and unhurried, laid out around its historic Tithe Barn.
The Tithe Barn is the heart of the place, and the estate's genuine piece of deep history: a 14th-century building, Grade I listed and a Scheduled Ancient Monument, built to hold tithes for Glastonbury Abbey. A striking hamstone space of soaring ceilings, exposed beams and abundant natural light, it holds the ceremony, the wedding breakfast and the evening celebration in one room that flows from one moment to the next, seating up to 120. By day it is a light-filled backdrop for vows and dining; as evening falls it becomes a warm, candlelit space for dancing, with direct access to the Lakeside Bar, the Millers Lounge and the terrace, and full heating and sound for weddings in every season.
Beyond the barn, the estate offers outdoor ceremonies in the gardens and by the lakes, a get-ready room steps from the barn, and 19 beautifully refurbished en-suite guest rooms with a Bridal Suite, so the whole wedding party stays on site and wakes to birdsong and countryside views. Catering is in-house, from abundant family-style feasting to elegant plated dining, and the day is arranged on an all-inclusive package.
