The Chedi Luštica Bay

The resort has 111 rooms and suites (100 rooms, 11 suites and a penthouse), low against the hillside above the marina, in the Chedi house style: pale stone, timber screens and water on every side. It's the first Chedi on the Adriatic, and the first five-star hotel inside Luštica Bay, a still-developing marina town on Montenegro's Luštica Peninsula.

A working resort, not a private estate. The Chedi Luštica Bay is a luxury resort, not a private-use wedding estate. Couples reserve individual spaces for the celebration (the Ballroom, a terrace, the beach), but the resort's other guests remain on site throughout; there's no whole-hotel buyout. For some destination weddings that's an advantage: guests can book their own stay around the wedding without the couple needing to fill or run an entire property. Couples set on complete privacy, where everyone on the grounds that day belongs to their own guest list, should weigh that before it goes on the shortlist.

Eight spaces, mostly for the reception. The resort's own 2026 wedding brochure names eight bookable spaces, with banquet (seated) and reception (standing) capacity published for six of them: The Ballroom (110 / 250) is the largest, and the resort's one purpose-built indoor event room. The Spot Restaurant (100 / 200) and The Restaurant (80) both have their own indoor dining rooms. The Japanese (30 / 60) is a sea-view terrace; the Pool Deck (80 / 100) and the Lobby Bar Terrace (16 / 40) are both open-air. The Amphitheatre and the Small Breakwater, a stone pier by the marina lighthouse, don't have a published capacity; ask the resort directly if numbers matter for either.

Only two of these eight are described in the resort's own material as ceremony spaces specifically: the Amphitheatre and the Pool Deck. The rest are framed as reception or dining venues. Separately, the resort's public site names the beach, the gardens and the marina as ceremony locations in general terms, without a capacity stated for any of them. There's no confirmed indoor ceremony option in anything the resort publishes; worth asking about directly if a wet-weather ceremony matters.

Dining is in-house only across seven venues: the five above, plus the more casual Hangout and the golf-adjacent Clubhouse, so a rehearsal dinner and the wedding breakfast can genuinely differ without leaving the resort.

Accommodation is 111 rooms and suites, plus a penthouse, most facing the marina or the sea. A Kids Club (ages 3–12) and pet-friendly amenities make this a realistic base for a multi-generational wedding party, not just the couple's own stay.

What works for a multi-day wedding. A Gary Player golf course, Montenegro's first, is taking shape on the hillside above the marina, with several holes already open for play in 2026, a real draw for a golf-minded wedding party. The resort is also one of the first 100 hotels worldwide Forbes-Verified for Responsible Hospitality and Green Key certified, for couples who weigh that. Beyond the resort itself: for a day on the water, the resort runs its own boat excursions directly from the marina, nothing to arrange independently. For an afternoon or evening away: Kotor's UNESCO-listed Old Town, about 20 minutes by road, with walled medieval lanes and the climb to St John's Fortress. For a relaxed day before the wedding: Luštica Bay itself covers it, on foot, with the marina village, the beach, the resort's own spa. For guests staying longer: a short boat crossing from Perast to Our Lady of the Rocks, a small island church, makes a genuinely worthwhile half-day. Kotor and Perast both need a car, taxi or private transfer; nothing beyond the marina village is walkable.

Most guests fly into Tivat Airport (TIV), 13km / 19 minutes away, with a resort shuttle available; Dubrovnik and Podgorica are both realistic alternates at roughly an hour and forty-five by road.
