Couples marry in the Great Room, entered through an archway dating back to 1103 and seating up to 56, with views across the courtyard and direct access to the gardens, or in the wood-panelled King Charles I Room, an intimate setting for up to 12 with a fireplace and views over the South Downs. Drinks and canapes follow in the courtyards, the wedding breakfast is served in one of three characterful dining rooms, and larger parties celebrate in a marquee raised in the gardens, all behind the castle's curtain wall.

Dining is by the castle's own kitchen, refined and contemporary menus drawn from the seasons and the South Downs, served in three characterful dining rooms from the vaulted stone hall to the intimate King Charles I Room. Canapes and Champagne open the day in the courtyards, and the wedding breakfast carries on into the evening within the walls.
