It is not about control.

That line is hers, and it is a strange thing for a wedding planner to say out loud. Her argument is that in the pursuit of perfection and the desire to please everyone, the essence of a wedding gets lost, and what should feel like a celebration turns into a carefully managed performance. So the studio takes the planning, the logistics and the coordination, and hands back the day. Sometimes, she writes, it is the unexpected, the emotional, even the slightly imperfect moments that become perfect. A planner who says that in public has to mean it, because every guest at every wedding will notice if she does not.

Daria Ovseenko

An MBA in finance from EU Business School, a wine and spirit qualification with hands-on experience across more than twenty European wine regions, and EWPC certification as a destination wedding specialist. That is a peculiar combination until you see where she works: a wedding in the Lavaux terraces above Lake Geneva is a logistics problem, a vineyard problem and a budget problem at the same time.

The studio started somewhere stranger still, bringing ballroom dancing events and debutante balls to Switzerland before moving fully into private celebrations. It shifted to destination weddings exclusively in 2020. She is featured as a wedding planner on the official Switzerland Tourism site.

The Position

Weddings should be joyful, vibrant, and truly enjoyable for you and your guests.

Her six stated values are honesty and transparency, commitment to excellence, a truly personal approach, trust and partnership, respect for your vision, and attention to detail. The first one is the one that shows: she publishes what a wedding actually costs per guest, which almost nobody in this trade does.

How She Works

Four Steps, One Free Consultation.

Initial consultation, free of charge. Planning and preparations. Booking vendors. Bringing the vision to life. She asks for nine to twelve months minimum, and warns that alpine venues in peak season often want fourteen to eighteen. Her record for a full wedding is one month, which she mentions in the way people mention things they do not want to repeat.

Full Wedding Planning

A complete end-to-end service for international couples planning from abroad: venue sourcing, vendor selection, budget management, timeline creation, design development and full wedding-day execution.

Event Design and Production

Tablescapes, florals, lighting and the overall guest experience, designed in house. The floral décor is hers; entertainment production is brought in.

In-House Floral

Not outsourced. The design and the flowers come from the same studio, which is why the tablescapes and the installations read as one idea rather than two suppliers.

Concierge and Logistics

Guest programmes, payment handling for local vendors, and the whole apparatus of running a wedding in a country your guests do not live in. Seven languages help.

Lake Geneva and Lavaux

The home ground. The Lavaux vineyard terraces are UNESCO-listed and drop straight into the lake, with the Alps opposite. Vevey, Glérolles and the Crausaz estate all sit on it.

The Swiss Alps

Gstaad, Villars and Champéry. Alpine venues in peak season want fourteen to eighteen months of notice, which is the single most useful thing she tells couples.

France

Bordeaux, Champagne, Evian and Thonon-les-Bains. The wine regions are not a coincidence: she holds a wine and spirit qualification and has worked across twenty of them.

Northern Italy

The third of her three stated countries. Northern Italy only, despite what third-party listings claim about Tuscany and Umbria.

"

Working with Daria was, hands down, the best decision my husband and I made while planning our wedding. I didn't see setup, I didn't see breakdown, I just saw magic.

Investment

Per Guest, Not Per Package.

Weddings at This venue typically represent a total investment of Bespoke, depending on guest count, season, and the level of bespoke elements chosen.

She does not publish a planning fee. What she publishes is the number that actually governs the day: budget roughly 1,200 to 1,600 per guest for a one-day celebration, and 1,600 to 2,000 per guest for a multi-day wedding. That covers venue hire, catering, beverages, staffing, standard production and core vendor services. Her collections generally fold in travel across Italy, France and Switzerland, one line rather than a surprise on the final bill.

That a wedding should not be a performance. In her words, too often the essence gets lost in the pursuit of perfection and the desire to please everyone, and what should feel like a celebration turns into something carefully managed. She takes the logistics so the couple can stop managing.

Mostly from the United States and the United Kingdom. In her words, she loves introducing Europe to them.

She states she is a recommended wedding planner by Switzerland Tourism, and the work has been carried by Style Me Pretty, French Wedding Style, Rock My Wedding and The Wed.

Lead time, mostly. Peak-season alpine venues book fourteen to eighteen months out, and the weather makes contingency planning a real line item rather than a formality.

No. The enquiry form also covers corporate events, private parties and children's parties, and the studio grew out of ballroom and debutante events.
