The planner who tells you the price before you tell her the budget.

Four fees, published on her own website, fixed rather than a percentage. A maximum of ten weddings a year, published as a limit rather than sold as exclusivity. More than eighty weddings since 2014. In a market that quotes on enquiry as a matter of habit, plain numbers are the most unconventional thing about her, which is saying something about a planner whose own page reads: I do not follow trends and I do not do Pinterest themes.

Elisa Prati

Elisa Prati was born and raised in Italy and worked in the fashion and graphic design industries before she worked in events. That is the useful part of the biography, because it explains the eye. She founded the agency in 2014 and has designed and directed more than eighty weddings since, in Italy and in South France, for couples arriving mostly from the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada and Australia.

She works from Merate, between Milan and Lake Como, with a small team and a stated ceiling of ten weddings a year. Her clients write back to her by name, and to her colleague Pascale by name, which is what a practice of that size looks like from the inside. Her own description of the method is that she starts from the couple and the place rather than from a style, and that she would rather break a rule she knows than follow one she does not.

The Limit

Ten a year, and she publishes it.

Most planners at this level describe their capacity as exclusivity. Elisa Prati states a number, in her own words, in a public answer: a maximum of ten weddings per year. It is the difference between a claim and a commitment, and it is the reason dates rather than fees are the thing to ask about first.

How She Works

From the first Zoom call to the last table cleared.

The engagement runs ten to twelve months, with telephone access on working days and a shared set of documents so the couple can see the plan rather than be told about it. She scouts venues with you and attends the tasting. She handles the paperwork for civil, religious and symbolic ceremonies, which for foreign couples marrying in Italy is the part that quietly derails timelines. Her suppliers are offered rather than imposed: if you already have a florist or a photographer you want, she will work with them within the venue rules. On the day she and her team are on site directing, not on the phone.

Full-Service Planning

Design, planning and coordination of the whole event, ten to twelve months of it, ending with her team on site directing the day. From 9,000 euro plus VAT for a single day, 11,900 for a multi-day celebration.

Wedding Design

The concept, the mood, the palette and the table, built from the building and the season rather than from a template. She does not reuse a scheme, and she says so in the least diplomatic terms available: no Pinterest themes.

Micro-Weddings and Elopements

Two to six people from 5,200 euro plus VAT, seven to thirty from 6,400. Same design process, same paperwork, same on-site direction, at the scale of a dinner rather than a production.

Ceremonies of Every Kind

Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, interfaith, humanist and civil, and same-sex weddings. Including the paperwork foreign couples need to marry legally in Italy.

Lake Como

Her home water. Villa del Balbianello and Villa Balbiano, the frescoed halls and the loggias that photograph as architecture rather than as a view, and a supply chain she has been using for over a decade.

Amalfi Coast and Capri

Villa Cimbrone in Ravello, Villa La Rondinaia, Palazzo Avino, Villa Eva. A coastline where everything beautiful arrives up the same road, on a schedule, which makes it a logistics brief before it is a design one.

Tuscany and Florence

Vineyard estates and walled gardens: Relais Mastrojanni, Borgo Santo Pietro, Villa La Selva, Villa le Fontanelle. The register here is long lunches and low light rather than spectacle.

Puglia and Sicily

Masserie, whitewashed courtyards and stone farmhouses, with the tables outside and the evening running late. The south is where her work looks least like anybody else's.

Everything was perfect, from our first exchanges to the last moment at Borgo Casabianca. Thanks to you, we had an unforgettable day and our loved ones did too. You knew how to understand our desires and our expectations.

Know the rules well enough to break them. That is a working method, not a slogan, and it is legible in every table she has ever laid.

Investment

A Fixed Fee, Published Before You Ask.

Weddings at This venue typically represent a total investment of Bespoke, depending on guest count, season, and the level of bespoke elements chosen.

Elisa Prati publishes her planning fees on her own website, in full, before any conversation. A one day wedding starts at 9,000 euro plus VAT. A multi day wedding starts at 11,900. A micro wedding of seven to thirty guests starts at 6,400, and an elopement of two to six people starts at 5,200. Each figure is the fee for design, planning and coordination. The venue, the florist and every other supplier are quoted separately and paid separately, which is stated on the same page rather than discovered later. The fee itself is fixed, calculated on the logistics and complexity of the event rather than taken as a percentage of what you spend.

-Telephone support on working days

Music and entertainment
Transport, transfers and guest accommodation

The fee is fixed rather than a percentage, so it does not rise with your budget. She takes a maximum of ten weddings a year, which is her own published limit, so dates are the real constraint rather than the fee. She suggests holding a venue twelve to eighteen months ahead and, for couples travelling from outside Italy, budgeting for two planning trips: one to see venues, one for the tasting and the hair and make-up trial.

All pricing is indicative. Final investment varies by date, guest count, menu, and bespoke requirements. Contact the venue directly for a tailored proposal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Elisa Prati Wedding Italy

She came to events from fashion and graphic design rather than from the wedding industry, and the design changes with the place instead of travelling with her. A Tuscan garden, a Puglian courtyard and a frescoed hall on Lake Como are laid, lit and timed as three different problems.

Lake Como, Portofino, Venice, Tuscany and Florence, Rome, the Amalfi Coast and Capri, Puglia and Sicily. She is based between Milan and Lake Como, which is also where much of the northern supply chain sits.

Yes. Weddings she planned have appeared in Vogue France, Carats and Cake, Wedding Sparrow, The Wed and Wed Vibes.

She publishes a page listing what she plans: Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Zoroastrian, interfaith, humanist and civil ceremonies, and same-sex weddings. The paperwork for foreign couples marrying in Italy is part of the service.

A welcome dinner, the wedding day and usually a farewell, with guest experiences threaded between them: boats, tastings, a piazza taken over for an evening. She quotes multi-day separately, from 11,900 euro plus VAT, because it is a different production rather than a longer version of the same one.

Yes. She offers her planning and design service business to business, to overseas agencies and professionals who need a local Italian planner on the ground. It is a named service on her own site rather than a favour.
