A Ceremony in the Castle.

Couples marry in the medieval Great Hall beneath its ancient timber roof, in the lighter, arch-lined Lantern Hall, in the intimate Winchester Suite, or out on the East Lawn overlooking the White Rose Garden. Wedding breakfasts are served for up to two hundred and thirty-four beneath centuries-old portraits, or under a marquee on the Great Lawn for the largest gatherings, before the celebration carries into the night in the old rooms of the castle.

A Castle with Real History.

Above the Bishop's Palace rises the Norman keep, cared for by English Heritage, the oldest part of a castle that has stood at Farnham since the twelfth century. It is what sets a wedding here apart: not a country house dressed as something older, but a genuine medieval castle, its Great Hall and ancient walls the real setting for the vows, with eight hundred years of history holding the day.
