Friends first, planners second.

Ilaria Guarino and Serena Ranieri call themselves business partners and lifelong friends, in that order, and fifteen years of real weddings on their own site back it up: a level of personal coordination, welcome dinners through post-wedding brunches, that reads more like two friends running your wedding week than a company executing a package.

Ilaria Guarino & Serena Ranieri

Ilaria Guarino and Serena Ranieri founded Italian Event Planners together in 2011. Their own description of the partnership: not only business partners and founders but lifelong friends, a balance of creativity and precision that clients describe, unprompted, as feeling like family by the end of the process.

Fifteen years on, they have planned weddings across the Amalfi Coast, Tuscany, Umbria, Lake Como, Veneto, Puglia, Sardinia, Sicily and Rome, working alongside collaborator Annachiara Varriale, a multilingual destination wedding planner. Their own client reviews describe them as available at any hour, across time zones, for couples who often cannot travel to Italy until wedding week itself.

The Range

One agency, every kind of Italian wedding.

Hindu ceremonies, same-sex weddings, a kilted Scottish groom under a Tuscan sunflower arch, traditional Chinese wedding dress on a gravel drive outside Florence: Italian Event Planners' own gallery holds all of it, roughly fifty-five real named weddings deep, without repeating a single ceremony style twice.

How They Work

Remote First, Present for Everything.

Their own client reviews describe a planning relationship that starts long before a couple sets foot in Italy: master spreadsheets kept current, budgets tracked and adjusted, vendors recommended and coordinated, all across a time difference that can run six hours or more. Once the wedding week arrives, Ilaria, Serena and the team are present throughout, not just for the ceremony: welcome dinners, boat tours, guest transport and post-wedding events are run as part of the same job, and reviewers note they stay until the last guest has left.

Full-Service Destination Planning

Venue, vendors, logistics and on-the-day direction, coordinated for couples who are often planning from another country entirely. Ilaria and Serena have run this process since 2011.

Multi-Day Celebrations

Welcome dinners, boat tours, post-wedding beach parties: client reviews describe full three-day itineraries planned end to end, not just the ceremony and reception.

Multicultural and Multi-Faith Ceremonies

Hindu ceremonies, same-sex weddings, Scottish-Italian weddings and traditional Chinese wedding dress all appear in their own real portfolio, planned with the same attention regardless of tradition.

Guest Logistics and Concierge

Travel arrangements, accommodation and restaurant recommendations for every guest, described directly in client reviews as help extended well beyond the couple themselves.

Amalfi Coast, Sorrento & Capri

Ravello, Positano and Capri anchor the largest single category on their own site, and the hero wedding shown here, Christina and David, moved between Capri and Positano over several days.

Tuscany

Their single largest destination by volume on their own site: seventy-one posts, from hillside olive groves above Florence to Chinese wedding-dress portraits on a country drive.

Lake Como

Wooden Riva-style boats and lakeside villas, a recurring setting across at least two of the real weddings in their own gallery.

Umbria & Sardinia

Umbria supplies nine of their own site's posts, including the hero couple's own film location; Sardinia is confirmed independently by a client review describing a three-day island wedding.

Investment

Full-Service, Multi-Day, No Published Package.

Weddings at This venue typically represent a total investment of Bespoke, depending on guest count, season, and the level of bespoke elements chosen.

Italian Event Planners does not publish a fixed planning fee. Their own written client reviews describe multi-day itineraries built around a single wedding, welcome dinners, boat tours, post-wedding beach parties, arranged for weeks or months without the couple needing to be in Italy, coordinated for guest counts from small elopements to over a hundred people. The fee reflects the scope of that itinerary and is quoted after a first conversation.

The film "Amanda & Giacomo: a never ending love for Umbria," on their own YouTube channel, documents one real wedding from the same portfolio shown here.

Yes. Client reviews describe help with guest travel, accommodation and restaurant recommendations, extended to entire wedding parties rather than only the couple.
