Meet Natalie

Natalie Damaschin designs Lada Fiori's weddings today, working from the studio her mother, Lada Damaschin, founded in Bergamo. The house style favours structure over simple arrangement: glass-framed canopies suspended above the aisle, rather than a fixed arch; a reception ceiling hung with disco spheres and clouds of dried gypsophila, rather than a single centrepiece repeated down the table. Where the design calls for restraint, as at a real documentary wedding at Villa Cipressi, the same precision holds, white rose and olive dressing a lakefront arch without competing with the water behind it.

The studio's reach runs the length of Lombardy's lakes and further south again: Villa Balbiano and Villa Cipressi on Lake Como, Torre San Marco on Lake Garda, Villa Silvana in Sorrento, and, by the studio's own account, as far as Porto Rotondo and Porto Cervo on the Sardinian coast. Natalie also founded ELLEFFEVENTS, an Italian destination-wedding planning studio, which names Lada Fiori as its own in-house floral partner, a working relationship that keeps design and planning under one roof for the couples who use both.
