Sanda Pandza left Split, Croatia for Rome in 1991, during the Yugoslav civil war. She built a life and a degree in the city before her career turned toward weddings in 2001, managing celebrations at Odescalchi Castle in Bracciano. She founded Sanda Pandza Events in 2003, and the company has since planned weddings for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, alongside hundreds of couples across Italy, Croatia, Montenegro and Fuerteventura.

Sanda Pandza

Sanda Pandza was born in Split, Croatia, and left for Rome in 1991 as civil war broke out in the former Yugoslavia. She worked and studied through the years that followed, graduating from the University of Rome in Foreign Languages and Literatures, and today speaks Italian, English, Croatian, Serbian and Russian. In 2015 she published an autobiographical novel about the journey, "A Girl with a Suitcase."

Her path into weddings began in 2001, when she met Princess Odescalchi and began managing weddings and events at Odescalchi Castle in Bracciano. Two years later she founded Sanda Pandza Events. Twenty-three years on, her weddings have included Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes in 2006, Mena Suvari and Simone Sestito, and Petra Ecclestone and James Stunt, and she has been featured in Vogue, Marie Claire, Wedluxe and Hola.

A Five-Senses Approach to Every Celebration.

Sanda Pandza Events designs each wedding around sight, taste, sound, scent and touch: the venue, the menu, the florals, the music and the guest experience, considered together rather than as separate line items. The result is a celebration built from the ground up around one couple, not a template repeated from wedding to wedding.

From the First Call to the Last Toast.

Planning begins with venue research and a complete event design, developed over 60 to 250 hours depending on the scale of the celebration. From there the team manages vendor referrals and contract negotiation, budget tracking, hotel room blocks and transportation, menu tastings and rehearsals, before running full on-the-day coordination so the couple experiences the wedding as a guest of their own celebration.

From venue research to the final toast. Sixty to 250 hours of dedicated planning per celebration, covering design, vendors, budget, logistics and on-the-day coordination.
