Türkbükü, Bodrum, Turkey

A Private Estate Above Paradise Bay.

Villa Maçakızı looks out over Paradise Bay from the hillside of Türkbükü, on the Bodrum Peninsula. It comes from the Maçakızı family, who have shaped the modern peninsula since Ayla Emiroğlu opened her first beach club here in the 1970s. Introduced in 2019, the villa marries that authentic Aegean spirit with contemporary luxury: ten sea-view rooms and suites, an infinity pool over the bay, a private spa with a Turkish Hammam, and a private chef. The entire estate is available for a single celebration, 45 minutes from the airport.

A Ceremony Above Paradise Bay. An Aegean Feast Under the Stars.

Villa Maçakızı hosts a single wedding at a time across the whole estate. A civil or symbolic ceremony can be held on a sea-view terrace or platform above Paradise Bay, with the Aegean stretching to the horizon. An aperitivo follows by the infinity pool as the light turns gold over the water, and the wedding feast is laid alfresco on the terraces or in the gardens, the private chef cooking over the wood-burning oven and grill. Up to 100 guests dine seated, and up to 150 gather for a standing reception. Live music and DJs are welcome, with bespoke entertainment arranged on request. The private spa, the beach, and all ten suites are open to the wedding party throughout. The villa, and everything in it, is exclusively yours.

Mediterranean and Seafood Menus, Served Over the Bay.

The kitchen is led by a private chef, Carlo Bernardini, who builds menus around the freshest locally sourced seasonal ingredients. Mediterranean cooking and Aegean seafood sit alongside plant-based options, bespoke menus, wine pairings, and cocktails. Meals are served alfresco across the estate: on the terraces, by the infinity pool, or overlooking Paradise Bay, with a wood-burning oven and barbecue grill for long Mediterranean lunches and dinners. Couples may also bring their own catering team.

The Maçakızı Story

A Family That Shaped the Bodrum Peninsula.

Bodrum is ancient Halicarnassus, home to the Mausoleum, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and a haven for beauty seekers since the 1970s. Much of that modern story belongs to the Maçakızı family. Ayla Emiroğlu moved to Bodrum in 1977 and opened the first beach club in a bay reachable only by boat; her son Sahir Erozan, a restaurateur in Washington, returned in the early 1990s and built the beloved Maçakızı Hotel in Türkbükü. In 2019 the family introduced Villa Maçakızı, marrying Ayla's rustic Aegean style with Sahir's contemporary luxury. A wedding here is held inside that lineage of barefoot Bodrum elegance.
