A Single Long Table, Over the Water.

The villa keeps no kitchen of its own for events; dinner is arranged through trusted local caterers and laid on the terrace over the pool or inside the glass, for up to 25 seated. The scale is deliberate, a single long table with the lake going dark beyond the glass, rather than a room of them. Menus are built with each couple through the chosen caterer.

Lake Como is a lake of frescoed villas and clipped gardens, and Villa Nascosta is deliberately none of that. It is a contemporary house of glass, stone and green terraced roofs, set into the hillside so that from the air it almost disappears into the trees. Inside, the architecture does the work the frescoes do elsewhere: the glass frames the water, the pool draws the eye to the horizon, and the whole villa is arranged around the one view that matters.
