Floral scenography for weddings and events, from a Rome studio
Maria Luisa Rocchi Flowers is a Rome floral design studio at Piazza Euclide, creating floral scenography for church ceremonies, receptions and sweet tables across Italy and, by its own account, destination weddings worldwide.
Maria Luisa Rocchi Flowers works from a shop and studio under the arcades of Piazza Euclide, in Rome's Parioli district. Maria Luisa Rocchi trained under two internationally known florists, Paula Pryke in London and Peter Hess in Basel, before returning to Rome to build a team the studio's own material describes as artists, designers and florists, specialised in floral scenography for events. She later co-authored a book on flowers and style, I Fiori e lo Stile, with Laura Pranzetti Lombardini, and has appeared on Italian television, including a segment for Rai 2, to talk about the craft.
The wedding portfolio runs from grand Rome basilicas dressed in white rose and blue delphinium to a poolside garden reception in apricot and peach, real ceremonies at Villa Aurelia and La Posta Vecchia among them. Alongside weddings, the studio's own account lists a wide corporate and luxury client roster, from Ferrari and Hewlett Packard to Pomellato, Harry Winston and Chanel, and, more recently, a Balmain dinner at Palazzo Sacchetti. By its own description, the studio has also worked with wedding planners and couples travelling from as far as Lebanon, Russia, China and beyond, a claim presented here as the studio's own, not independently verified.

Maria Luisa Rocchi trained under two of the most respected names in international floristry, Paula Pryke in London and Peter Hess in Basel, before building a studio of her own in Rome. The training shows in the range: a Roman basilica aisle laid the full length in white rose and blue delphinium reads as considered rather than simply lavish, and the same discipline carries through to a poolside reception table dressed in apricot and peach, or a sweet table finished in pale blue and gold leaf. The studio works from a shop under the arcades of Piazza Euclide, a space its own material describes as immersing a client in flowers, colour and Italian design objects together, closer to a considered interior than a conventional flower counter. It is also where a couple first meets Maria Luisa and her team, the same trained eye that has dressed churches, private villas and, by the studio's own account, corporate events for up to two thousand guests, now turned toward a single wedding.

"I am Maria Luisa, and I founded this studio in Rome after training under Paula Pryke in London and Peter Hess in Basel. My team and I design floral scenography for weddings, from a church aisle in white and blue to a poolside reception table in pastel, and every project begins with a conversation at our shop and studio at Piazza Euclide."
