Towers, an armoury hall, a carved staircase and elegant drawing rooms give it the grandeur of a great Scottish castle, reserved exclusively for one wedding at a time.
Couples take the castle, chapel, grounds and accommodation entirely as their own. Ceremonies are held in the private chapel, which seats up to 120 beneath its stained glass, or outdoors by the lake; the celebration unfolds in the candlelit Tenants' Hall, seating up to 90 (150 for dancing), or in a sailcloth marquee on the lawn for up to 300. Fourteen bedrooms, recently refurbished in tartan and antiques, sleep up to 28, with a five-bedroom West Wing apartment besides, and bespoke catering draws on the finest local Scottish produce, for a grand, intimate Highland-edge castle wedding.

Taken exclusively, the whole castle becomes the wedding party's own, so family and friends stay together beneath one roof in the heart of Aberdeenshire.

Dining at Cluny Castle is bespoke: preferred catering partners and in-house catering create menus from the finest locally sourced, seasonal Scottish produce, served by candlelight in the Tenants' Hall, in the intimate Dining Room, or in the marquee. There is a full alcohol licence with corkage options, and every dietary preference is accommodated, for a feast as grand or as intimate as the couple wish.
